Live Author Visits
Grant has read to over 150,000 children in primary schools across the UK with his author visits. His books, 'The Day Granny's Knicker's Blew Away!' and 'The Day Granny Met The Queen!' are great ways to encourage reading for pleasure.
His in person author visits are great way to introduce KS1 to a 'real life author' where they can discover what it's like to write stories. Author vists compliment the work done in classrooms, and are encouraged by OFSTED to encourage reading for pleasure. Visits are a covid-safe activity, and online solutions are available when necessary.
Carry on the fun and the new found enthusiasm back in the classroom with a teacher resource pack. Full of age appropriate acitivies centered around the themes from the book.
In Person & Online
During lockdown the world changed for everyone, especially children and the way they learnt. To assist with home schooling activits, Grant created an online youtume series of 'write along' and 'read along' sessions, where children could learn how to write their very own stories and have them read out to share with everyone. They themselves could become a real author!
